Today, on July 29, we celebrate the 160th anniversary of the birth of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky — a man whose life became an example of sacrificial service to the people and the Church. It was in our city, which now bears his name, that he took his first steps along the path of faith, dedication, and love.
We imagined what the words of the Metropolitan might be today — warm, sincere, and filled with love for his native land.
