In Bendyuga, a Pavilion for Pilgrims and Events was Installed

In the village of Bendyuga, a wooden pavilion was installed near the Cross Road.

The initiative by the village residents was realized within the framework of the youth participatory budget. The idea competition took place this summer, and the project to install the pavilion received enough votes to win in the ‘Small Projects’ category.

As the initiative’s author Maryana Deshytsia noted in the competition application, the pavilion will serve as a place for communication and relaxation for pilgrims, hosting conversations and spiritual meetings. In addition, this location will become a center for organizing small open-air events — parish celebrations, workshops, youth meetings, and more.

The installation of the pavilion creates convenient conditions for staying on the territory of the Cross Road at any time of the year, particularly in summer, providing protection from the sun and rain.
