In Lviv parks with ponds, such as “Ozero Levandivske” Park, the first duck broods have been observed. The ducklings are already swimming with adult ducks in the pond, which is surrounded by green reeds. Park visitors are urged not to feed ducks and swans bread, as it is harmful to their digestion.
Experts from the Lviv Municipal Enterprise “Green Lviv” note that wild birds know how to find food on their own. If you wish to support them, it’s better to bring grain or finely chopped vegetables. Information about proper feeding can be found on the information boards by the ponds.
Furthermore, in “Ozero Levandivske” Park, seven young trees were recently planted: one swamp oak and six hornbeams. They have been placed where old, hazardous trees were removed.
