«Independence is the ability to decide for ourselves what Ukraine should be. Sadly, we know all too well the price of the right to determine our own future and to live in a peaceful country. That is why, on Independence Day, it is especially important to thank those who are defending Ukraine today and to honour the memory of those who gave their lives for it», — Yura Gorun.
The organisers are calling on residents and visitors of Lviv to join the events and together honour the memory of Ukraine’s fallen male and female defenders.
