In the town of Novyi Rozdil, on the eve of Heroes’ Day, a commemorative event entitled “Memory that Lives in Our Hearts” was held on the Avenue of Heroes to honour Ukraine’s fallen male and female defenders.
During the event, local residents joined together in a common prayer for the soldiers who gave their lives for Ukraine and for a peaceful future for the state. A memorial service took place, becoming a moment of spiritual unity for those present as they remembered the fallen.
A particularly significant part of the event was the unveiling of new banners bearing photographs of Ukraine’s fallen Heroes. The organisers stressed that each face depicted represents a unique story of courage, self-sacrifice and love for their native land.
Participants in the event honoured the memory of the soldiers with a minute of silence, remembering those who gave their lives for freedom, independence and peace for future generations.
At the close of the gathering, those present expressed their gratitude to all who continue to defend Ukraine and bowed their heads in tribute to the blessed memory of the fallen defenders.
