On June 16, the meeting of the group of psychological support and mutual assistance of the families of the fallen defenders of Ukraine took place in the city of Novy Rozil in the Lviv region. The event was held as part of the project of the Department of Military Chaplaincy of the Patriarchal Curia of the UGCC to support families of servicemen and families of fallen soldiers.
In the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos of the UGCC, a memorial service for the fallen and a prayer to Christ the Savior was held, led by the group’s clergyman, Fr. Ivan Rybko. After the joint prayer, the priest read the Holy Scriptures and meditated on the Word of God, based on the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount of Jesus Christ. Therefore, psychologist Nataliya Kotsovska also spoke with the families of the Heroes.
The spiritual and psychological meeting took place in a warm family atmosphere. Parents, children and wives of fallen Heroes received support, useful advice and consultations from a clergyman and a psychologist.
