
A large sports rehabilitation complex with a spiritual focus is planned to be built in the village of Pidbirtsi, part of the Lviv community. The chief architect of Lviv, Anton Kolomeytsev, announced the issuance of urban planning conditions and restrictions for this project during the executive committee meeting on Friday, 22 May.
This complex will be constructed at 3 Chervonoi Kalyny Street, on a plot covering 7 hectares. The client is “The Religious Administration of the Salesian Monasteries of the Eastern Rite in Ukraine UGCC”. The area will include both open and closed religious, sports, and rehabilitation facilities.
The comprehensive area will feature community spaces for the needs of Pidbirtsi village with bicycle parking spaces and appropriate infrastructure. A kindergarten, community centre, medical facility, and commercial entities are also planned. The project includes three large full-size football pitches and a training field, as well as a multi-level underground car park.
