On August 24, on the Independence Day of Ukraine, a special event took place in the village of Volsvyn — the consecration of the Alley of Heroes.
Relatives of fallen defenders, clergy, and community residents gathered at this event to honor the memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. A joint prayer and the consecration of the Alley was conducted by the rector of the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, Father Vasyl Dubetskyi. The attendees honored the bright memory of the Heroes with a minute of silence and held a solemn assembly.
The Alley of Heroes in Volsvyn is a place of memory and gratitude, as well as a reminder for each of us about the courage and sacrifice of Ukrainian soldiers.
