In the village of Voshchantsi in the Rudky community in the Sambir district, an Alley of Honour has been opened, dedicated to Ukrainian soldiers who gave their lives in the struggle for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. The new memorial space is intended to remind residents of their feat and to preserve the memory of the fallen defenders.
As noted by the Sambir District State Administration, the creation of the Alley of Honour was a joint initiative of the community. Local residents, benefactors and business representatives took part in its arrangement, providing the necessary support and resources.
The Alley commemorates the names of the fallen soldiers who have become part of the history of the Rudky community. The memorial is to become a place of remembrance, gratitude and the fostering of respect for Ukrainian defenders for current and future generations.
