Deputies appealed to the abbot and parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate to unite with the PCU
Today, May 5, during the session, deputies supported the appeal of the Chervonohrad City Council to the rector and parishioners of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate of Chervonohrad to unite with the Local Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
In particular, the appeal says that “in order to consolidate the Ukrainian people, we urge the parishioners of the Moscow Patriarchate not to be indifferent to the current situation in Ukraine and strongly condemn the actions of the occupier, because God is with us and with us.” We urge the rector and parishioners of the Church of St. John the Theologian of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in Chervonohrad to take all necessary measures within two weeks to withdraw from the Moscow Patriarchate and unite with the Local Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
