Starting tomorrow, 27 August, and throughout the week in Drohobych, you can offer prayers and petitions to a copy of the Miraculous Icon of the Virgin of Pidhirtsi. The icon will be displayed in the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul.

It should be noted that from 21 April to 24 August 1692, the first miracles began to happen through the Pidhirtsi icon: “the image of the Blessed Virgin wept fervent tears, candles that had not been lit by anyone at this icon were lit, and the sick were healed.”
On 14 April 1694, Bishop Joseph Shumliansky of Lviv proclaimed the icon miraculous.
Drohobych residents and guests of the city are invited to pray together to the Miraculous Icon.
