On 11 July, the charity festival “Huta Fest: With Shield and Honour” will take place on the grounds of the Huta Shchyretska horse ranch in the village of Polyana in the Trostianets community. The event will combine music, leisure and fundraising in support of service personnel, veterans and civilians affected by the war.
The organisers emphasise that the aim of the festival is to raise funds for volunteer and rehabilitation projects, as well as to draw attention to the needs of Ukraine’s defenders, their families and people who have lived through the consequences of hostilities. The event also seeks to promote socially responsible initiatives and showcase the tourism potential of locations across the Lviv region.
The Huta Fest programme will start at 12:00 with two panel discussions featuring representatives of volunteer organisations, rehabilitation specialists and civil society figures. The discussions will focus on current challenges in supporting service personnel and veterans, successful support practices, and ways to strengthen cooperation between different communities.
The official opening of the festival is scheduled for 15:00. The concert section will be opened by a military band, with Ukrainian performers Mariya Burmaka and Viktor Vynnyk announced among the headliners. Throughout the day, visitors will be able to enjoy a veterans’ fair, food courts serving Ukrainian cuisine, workshops for children and adults, a themed photo zone and other family activities.

Such events bring together leisure, culture and charity, while at the same time helping to draw attention to important social initiatives and to support our service personnel and veterans,” said Roman Khimyak.
As noted by Roman Khimyak, Director of the Department of Sport, Youth and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration, all funds raised during the festival will be directed towards charitable and rehabilitation initiatives, as well as assistance for service personnel, veterans and civilians affected by the war.
The organisers invite residents and guests of the Lviv region to join “Huta Fest: With Shield and Honour”, spend the day in picturesque surroundings, enjoy a rich programme and make their own contribution to supporting defenders and vital charitable projects.
