Yesterday in the village of Muzhilovychi, the Easter festivities “SPRING HAS SPREADED ALREADY!”
The spring holiday to glorify Christ’s Resurrection took place with the participation of folklore ensembles and creative groups of the Novoyavoriv community. Ancient gaivkas and rindzivkas sounded, festive ritual events on Easter were remembered, traditional delicacies were tasted, and master classes were held.
Hayivkas are an integral part of Christian culture, which are held during the Easter holidays. Their performance symbolizes the beginning of spring, the resurrection of all living things around.
