The ‘Carpathian Winter’ festival was held in Truskavets. This was reported by tmr gov ua. The event gathered talents for the All-Ukrainian two-round Arts Festival-Competition, which was part of the ‘Ethnic Wreath’ festival series.
Participants from various parts of Ukraine competed in categories such as instrumental, choreographic, theatrical, visual, circus arts, and vocals. Notably, the winners in the ‘Instrumental Art’ category were Anastasia Medvid and Nadiya Yuzkiv from the Bolekhiv School of Arts, who received the 2nd and 1st prizes, respectively.
In the ‘Circus Arts’ category, the Grand Prix was awarded to Oleksandr Tsyko from the ‘Cascade’ circus studio. Subsequent prizes were given to participants of various age categories from the same studio.
The festival also had a charitable aspect: 3,527 UAH was collected to assist soldiers in a Kyiv hospital. The festival was organized by the Azerbaijani Cultural Center and the Truskavets City Council, with support from the ‘Karpaty’ hotel and resort complex.
