
Oleh Dziurynets, a native of Boryslav and graduate of the local sports school, has made Ukrainian football history by becoming the youngest debutant ever in the Ukrainian Premier League.
📅 On Friday, August 8, during the match between Lviv’s “Rukh” and Kyiv’s “Dynamo”, the young athlete stepped onto the field in the 88th minute. At the time of his debut, Dziurynets was just 15 years and 17 days old, breaking the previous record held by a player who made his debut at 15 years and 159 days.
🎯 With this appearance, the Rukh midfielder became the youngest footballer to ever play in a UPL match.
Rukh’s head coach Ivan Fedyk shared his thoughts on the young player after the game:
