On January 7, a futsal tournament ‘Lion Cup’ took place at SK Bosco Arena in Lviv, where trainees of Busk Youth Sports School (U14), led by Yuriy Troyan, competed.
The tournament featured 8 teams divided into two groups. **Our team** confidently advanced to the semifinals from first place in the group, defeating the ‘Avangard’ team 4:1.
In the final match, the young athletes defeated the team from Youth Sports School Sudova Vyshnya 5:2, becoming the tournament winners. During the award ceremony, each player received a medal, and the team captain was presented with the winner’s cup.
The best player, as recognized by the tournament organizers, was Leonid Kuchynsky, who was awarded a commemorative statuette. _Sincere thanks to the parents for their constant support, as well as to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to whom the children have the opportunity to train, develop, and participate in sports competitions._
