In 2022, 14-year-old Oleksandr Shopronku, who is a pupil of Arsenal-Sokal (first coach – Serhiy Matveev), played in the Charity Tournament in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as part of FC Danish Textile U-19.

Even then, the very young Oleksandr Shopronku stood out on the field with good ball handling in the tournament among adult teams and scored 3️⃣ goals for the Danish Textile youth team!
In the 2024/2025 season, 16-year-old Oleksandr Shopronku made a significant leap in his career – he made his debut for Lviv’s Karpaty U-19 in the Youth Premier League України❗️У match Veres U-19 – Karpaty U-19, a student of Sokal football came on as a substitute in the 78th minute (the match ended in a 2-2 draw). We wish Oleksandr a successful transition from youth to adult football and play in the Premier League of Ukraine, as Andriy Kokhman, the legendary center back of FC Danish Textile, once did.
It is worth noting that the current players of FC Danish Textile, Yuriy Yastrub (Karpaty Lviv) and Nazariy Mukha (Vorskla Poltava), once played in the youth teams of the Ukrainian Premier League and were involved in the youth national team of Ukraine. And the famous midfielder of our team, Bohdan Bilyuk, is now successfully playing for in.IT (Lviv) in the highest division of Ukrainian futsal – the Extra League.
