The team ‘Halychyna’ from Drohobych claimed victory at the annual football tournament ‘Morshynska Autumn 2025’.
The participants included the Halychyna Drohobych U-14 team, which played four matches in group B. They drew 0:0 with Vinnytska VODYUSSH ‘Nyva’ and defeated the Stryi team ‘One on One’ with a score of 6:0. The team lost to ‘Barsa’ Sumy 0:1, but won against the second team ‘Rukh’ (40th school) 1:0, allowing them to score 7 points and advance to the playoffs.
In the playoffs, the Drohobych team faced the first team ‘Rukh’, defeating them 1:0 and progressing to the final against the Sumy ‘Barsa’. In the final match, the boys took revenge, defeating their opponent 1:0 and claiming gold in the tournament among children born in 2012.
*’Halychyna’ demonstrated strong play*, and after the final match, an award ceremony was held. Vitalii Fedyshyn was recognized as the best player of the team, Zakhar Shepelev as the best player of the tournament, and Roman Podoliak received an award as the best coach of the tournament.
