The second round of the Polish AMP football championship (players with amputations) took place in Rzeszow, with Pokrova Lviv AMP, the first Ukrainian football team of veterans who received amputations as a result of war injuries, established in Lviv.
In the last match of the second round, our team achieved a historic success: the guys won their first victory in the Polish championship, defeating Radomierz from Radom (1:0). Anatoliy Medvedyuk scored the only goal in the match.
After two rounds of the championship, the Lviv team has four points and the current seventh place in the standings.
The next, third round of the championship will take place in Radom on June 22-23. Prior to that, five players of the team, namely Yuriy Sushch, Anatoliy Medvedyuk, Valentyn Osovskyi, Mykola Oleksiyenko and Dmytro Shchegelskyi, will play at the European Championship in France.
