Mostyska Children’s Sports School Achieves Fourth Place at the All-Ukrainian Futsal Tournament
From March 20 to 23, the final part of the All-Ukrainian futsal tournament organized by the NGO ‘VFST Kolos’ took place in the city of Berehove (Zakarpattia region).
Success of Mostyska Athletes
The Mostyska Children’s Sports School team earned the right to represent the Lviv region in these competitions by confidently winning two regional selection stages. In the final part of the tournament, Mostyska footballers found themselves in the same group as the future champions, the team of Mohyliv-Podilskyi TG (Vinnytsia region). In a tense match for a place in the finals, our team fell short; however, a victory over opponents from Stepnivskyi TG (Odesa region) guaranteed them second place in the group and a chance to compete for places 4-6 in the tournament.
Match Results
In the playoff matches, the boys from Mostyska Children’s Sports School demonstrated a high level of play, defeating Semenivskyi TG (Poltava region) with a score of 5:1 and Radomyshl Children’s Sports School (Zhytomyr region) – 6:1. As a result, our team took fourth place in the All-Ukrainian final futsal tournament, which is a significant achievement for the Mostyska community and sports school.
Besides the competitions, participants were able to relax and rejuvenate by enjoying the thermal pools for free, for which Berehove is famous.
The organization of such tournaments by the NGO ‘VFST Kolos’ not only promotes the development of sports but also gives children the opportunity to make new friends, exchange experiences, and feel true team spirit. Sports unite! 💪🏻
