At the Karpaty Stadium in Mostyska, a 1/4 final match of the Lviv Football Cup took place.
Our footballers, led by the constant coach Andrii Shahel, hosted the team SC Naftovyk (Boryslav). The traditional first kick of the ball was made by war veteran Yurii Fedyniak, a fighter of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade «Velykyi Luh».
Secretary of the Mostyska City Council Oleh Makar and Head of the Department of Economic Development, Investment, and Infrastructure Pavlo Osypov came to support the team.
In a tense and emotional battle, our boys claimed victory with a score of 5:4 in the post-match penalty series! Goal scorers: Matys Andrii — 1 goal in regular time, penalties: Zawada Vasyl, Sviatyi Yurii, Shchur Taras, Matys Andrii, Matliak Mykola.
Yet the most important outcome of the day was the collection of 5,800 UAH to support our military during the match. Congratulations to the team on their victory and thanks to all the fans for their support! Together, towards new triumphs!
