On Saturday, June 7th, the championship of the Lviv region in football among girls in the WU-12 age category for the 2024/2025 season concluded.
Sheptytskyi ‘Shakhtar’ became the champion ahead of schedule, having gained the maximum number of points in the tournament. The silver was won by the team ‘Yantarchka’ from Novoyavorivsk, and the bronze went to the young players of DYUSSH Busk.
Additionally, two players from Sheptytskyi were awarded individual honors – Kateryna Mel’nichuk as the best goalkeeper, and Anitta Kinakh as the top scorer with 23 goals.
After the competition, all participants received gifts – footballs. “We sincerely congratulate our young champions and their coach Serhiy Vasko on their well-deserved victory!”
