On December 21, a postponed match of Round 3 in the Lviv Region Volleyball Premier League took place. In this game, “Sokil-Sokal-Danish Textiles” secured an away victory over “Skole” with a score of 3:2. This win moved the Sokal-based team to third place in the standings, trailing “Radekhiv” only by set coefficient.
During the first stage, all teams play each other once. The top four teams will advance to the second stage of the championship.
Here’s how the playoff format looks:
- The 1st place team will host the 4th place team.
- The 2nd place team will host the 3rd place team.
Winners of these matches will compete for gold medals, while the losers will battle for bronze. A similar system will be used for teams placed 5th to 8th.
Interestingly, the official Technical Regulations for the 2025/2026 season do not specify that the 1st place team of the first stage has the right to host the final games (for gold or bronze) on their home court.
