VK ‘Dynamo Lviv’ has become the holder of the Ukraine Super Cup 2025.
The match took place on September 28 in Lviv, where two teams from the region competed for the trophy: VK ‘Dynamo Lviv’ and ‘LFKS-Aquatico’. These were the Ukrainian ‘Super League’ champion and the national Cup finalist respectively. The ‘dynamivtsi’ started the match more actively, but later ‘LFKS-Aquatico’ leveled the game. However, they couldn’t close the gap.
Match result: VK ‘Dynamo Lviv’ — ‘LFKS-Aquatico’ 13:7 (2:1, 5:1, 3:3, 3:2). For VK ‘Dynamo Lviv’, this is the eighth Ukrainian Water Polo Super Cup.
‘The dynamivtsi are also the current champions of Ukraine and holders of the national Cup,’ said Roman Khimyak, director of the sports, youth and tourism department of the Lviv OVA.
