Last Sunday, the All-Ukrainian Autumn Cup of the Lviv Football Association among children born in 2011 was held in Lviv.
Having left the group, in the 1/4 finals Sokal “Rukh” defeated a rather strong opponent – Lviv “Pokrov” with a score of 1:0! In the semi-finals, our young footballers beat DYUFA “Dynamo”-1 (Lviv) in a penalty shootout (regular time – 0:0). Thus, actually, a good game in defense allowed our team to reach the finals of these prestigious competitions.
The main time of the game for the 1st place between the teams “Rukh-Sokal” and “Zhovkva” State University School ended in a scoreless draw, and in the penalty shootout with a score of 2:1, Sokal residents won! We congratulate Volodymyr Pidkipniak’s team with a significant success – this was reported in the press service of the Rukh-Sokal club
