Nine farms in Lviv Region will receive nearly 1.6 million UAH in financial assistance from the regional budget. These funds will be directed towards compensating interest on leasing for the purchase of 10 units of agricultural machinery.
The decision was made on 24 March as part of the Comprehensive Programme for the Support and Development of Agriculture in the region. The total amount of leasing agreements is 54.8 million UAH.
Support will be provided to enterprises engaged in the cultivation of grain, oilseeds, and livestock farming. “We must support those enterprises that not only develop the agricultural sector but also ensure a decent level of wages and stable budget revenues. High salaries mean higher tax revenues, so it is important to continue considering this criterion,” emphasised Yuriy Kholod.
The maximum amount of assistance is up to 200,000 UAH per recipient, and the total funding for this programme direction is 3.5 million UAH.
