Farmers in Lviv Region have received financial support from the regional budget amounting to nearly 1.5 million hryvnias. This was made possible following the first meeting this year of the commission for determining recipients of financial support within the Comprehensive Programme for the Support and Development of Agriculture for 2021–2026.
As a result of the meeting, 9 business entities were granted the right to financial support by entering into financial leasing agreements for 10 units of agricultural machinery with a total value of 54.8 million UAH. The total amount of allocated financial support is 1.5 million UAH.
This year, 22 million UAH has been allocated for the implementation of the Comprehensive Programme for the Support and Development of Agriculture in the Lviv Region.
Financial support through the mechanism of leasing payment compensation is an effective tool for the development of the agricultural sector, allowing entrepreneurs to invest in new machinery today, without postponing development for the future, said Yuriy Buchko, Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
