The Agricultural Sector of Lviv Region Receives New Opportunities

The agricultural sector of the Lviv region provides 20% of the region’s internal product.

It includes over 1400 agricultural enterprises and more than 400 food industry enterprises that create added value, pay taxes, and support economic stability. In 2026, 22 million hryvnias have been allocated in the regional budget for the implementation of the Comprehensive Program for Agricultural Support and Development. We are interested in increasing production volumes in the Lviv region, initiating new investment projects, and strengthening local producers to become competitive both in the domestic and foreign markets.

Today, in the session hall of the Lviv Regional Council, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine presented support programs to the agrarians of Lviv, aimed at purchasing agricultural machinery and equipment for processing enterprises under the policy ‘Made in Ukraine’. This provides real financial assistance and an opportunity to use high-quality Ukrainian-produced machinery for work. I invite representatives of the agro-industrial complex to make use of this opportunity.

Thank you to the Deputy Chairman of the Economic Development Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and coordinator of the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy, Dmytro Kysylevskyi, for initiating this format of meetings. Thanks to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the agrarians, representatives of the agro-processing industry, and producers of Ukrainian equipment for a constructive conversation.
