The State will Compensate 25% of the Costs for Farms and Milking Parlors

The state will reimburse agricultural producers up to 25% of the costs for the construction or reconstruction of farms and milking parlors.

“Increasing state support will promote the development of Ukrainian animal husbandry. Ukraine has great potential for the development of the meat and dairy industry, whose products will go to both the domestic and foreign markets”, said Taras Vysotsky, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture.

According to the resolution, up to 25% reimbursement of the cost (excluding VAT) is provided for the construction or reconstruction of farms, milking parlors, or facilities for the processing of animal by-products. Reimbursement can be obtained for facilities whose construction and/or reconstruction began no earlier than February 24, 2022, and accepted into operation from January 1 to September 30, 2025.

In the future, such support will be provided for facilities accepted into operation in October-December of the previous year and January-September of the current year. Applications will be accepted after the relevant announcement is published in the State Agrarian Register and will last until October 20 of the current year. Documentation will be reviewed until December 5, 2025.

Additional state support for livestock will stimulate the maintenance of the breeding stock of cattle and promote the development of cattle breeding, reduce the costs of construction and reconstruction of livestock farms and complexes, and strengthen the state’s food security.
