Farming enterprises in Lviv region can receive up to 1 million hryvnias in state financial support for the development of production and diversification of agricultural activities. This was reported by the Drohobych City Council.
From 2 June, applications opened for participation in the programme, which provides financing of up to UAH 1 million for a period of up to five years for the implementation of investment projects. Documents can be submitted until and including 2 July 2026.
The programme is aimed at farming enterprises, including family farms without the status of a legal entity, which are registered in the State Agrarian Register, operate in territory under Ukraine’s control and meet the established requirements. Mandatory conditions for participation include the absence of tax arrears, bankruptcy proceedings and sanctions imposed.
The competitive selection of participants will be carried out by the Ukrainian State Fund for the Support of Farming Enterprises. When assessing applications, the evaluators will take into account compliance with the programme conditions, the soundness of the investment project, the expected economic impact and its influence on production development.
The funds can be used to purchase machinery and equipment, acquire farm animals, construct and renovate production facilities, establish perennial plantations, and develop irrigation, land reclamation and agricultural cooperation.
“Insufficient financial resources remain one of the key factors holding back the development of farming enterprises, especially small and family farms. State support programmes help producers to modernise production and expand their opportunities,” said the director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Liudmyla Honcharenko.
Applications may be submitted exclusively via the State Agrarian Register. Once the application period has closed, the competition winners will be determined and agreements on the provision of financial support will be concluded.
