Lviv Region Supports Farmers: 22 Million UAH for Development

The Lviv region actively supports the agricultural sector, allocating significant funds for its development.

The agricultural sector of Lviv constitutes one-fifth of the region’s entire internal product. This includes over 1400 agricultural enterprises and more than 400 food industry producers, who daily create added value, pay taxes, and maintain regional economic stability.

To increase production volumes and foster new investment projects in the region, the authorities continue to financially support the sector. As reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, 22 million UAH have been allocated from the regional budget in 2026 for the Comprehensive Program for Support and Development of Agriculture.

“Today in the session hall of the Lviv Regional Council, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine presented support programs to Lviv’s farmers targeting the acquisition of agricultural machinery and processing plant equipment within the ‘Made in Ukraine’ policy framework. This is real financial aid and a chance to use quality equipment made in Ukraine for work. I invite representatives of the agro-industrial complex to take advantage of it,” emphasized the regional head.

We support our own and develop the economy.
