Lviv region ranks third in terms of the area of gardens planted and fifth in terms of the amount of grant support agreed and paid under the “Your Garden” grant programme.
Two more business entities have joined the list of recipients of grant support for the creation and development of horticulture and berry growing under the eRobot “Your Garden” programme in Lviv Oblast: Flora-Zakhid LLC and Frutika LLC, which were granted the right to receive grant support in the amount of more than UAH 4.3 million to plant new apple, pear, peach, plum, and currant plantations on an area of 15.3 hectares.
“Grant support for producers is a long-term investment and an opportunity to fill budgets with funds for project implementation. At the same time, it is a chance to develop your own business with little in-house resources,” said Liudmyla Honcharenko, Acting Director of the Department of Agricultural Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
Within the framework of the “Your Own Garden” grant programme, Lviv region ranks third in terms of the area of gardens planted and fifth in terms of the amount of grant support agreed and paid.
Over the course of the programme, a total of UAH 78.2 million in grant support was approved for 18 Lviv region businesses to plant new intensive orchards and berry gardens, of which UAH 76.7 million (98% of the agreed amount) was paid out. These funds will be used to plant more than 277 hectares of intensive new plantings of apple, pear, blueberry, garden strawberry, raspberry, walnut and hazelnut trees.
