This will improve logistics and increase the efficiency of grain storage in the region.
On 11 October, a ceremonial laying of a capsule for the construction of a new grain elevator took place at the Agro-Centre farm in the village of Luky, Samborsky district, Lviv region.
“This project is important for the development of the agrarian infrastructure of the region, in particular improving logistics and increasing the efficiency of grain storage. Now there are 35 elevators in the region, but this is still not enough to meet the needs of the region in storage space, and therefore the construction of another elevator is a step towards increasing the capacity of the region”, – said acting director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of Lviv OSA Lyudmyla Honcharenko.
The event also included a conference and practical research on “The impact of ameliorants and organo-mineral fertilisers on soil fertility”. Experts and participants discussed modern agrochemical technologies, their impact on crop yields and crop resilience to climate change. The results of research on the use of ameliorants to improve soil conditions and increase crop productivity were presented.
The participants of the event agreed that the latest innovative developments demonstrate a significant positive impact on crop yields. This confirms the importance of continued research in this area and active implementation of new solutions to improve soil fertility and develop sustainable agriculture in the region.
