In the locality of ‘Hora’ near Sosnivka, young pine and oak trees were planted, totalling nearly 6,000, covering about a hectare. This action was part of the ‘Green Country’ initiative.
Foresters, volunteers, government representatives, and concerned residents of the region actively participated in this environmental initiative. The event was organised by the Western Interregional Forestry and Hunting Management, together with the ‘Carpathian Forestry Office’ branch and the NGO ‘Dobro.Diy’, supported by the Lviv Regional State Administration and the regional council.
“May these seedlings take root well, grow stronger, and provide air for future generations of Ukrainians. Life will prevail!” stated the Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
