The Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration has announced the acceptance of applications from business entities for financial support to purchase pedigree livestock. This concerns partial reimbursement of the cost of pedigree in-calf heifers of dairy and dual-purpose (dairy and beef) types, as well as heifers and in-calf heifers of beef production type.
This measure is being implemented under the Comprehensive Programme for the Support and Development of Agriculture in Lviv Region for 2021–2026. Funding is provided from the regional budget.
Partial reimbursement is granted in the amount of up to 30% of the cost of pedigree animals (excluding VAT), but not more than 15,000 hryvnias per head. The compensation applies to stock purchased from livestock breeding entities of domestic origin and/or imported from abroad.
