Rising Water Levels in Lviv Region Rivers Due to Expected Rainfall

In the rivers of the Lviv region, an unexpected decline in water levels is observed. According to the hydrometeorological network, up to 2 mm of rainfall occurred in some areas over the past day, causing variations in water levels across different basins.

In rivers belonging to the Dniester basin, water levels decreased by 1-13 cm. Meanwhile, in the basins of the San and Western Bug rivers, fluctuations ranged between 1-5 cm, but a general trend of decline predominated.

The water temperature in the mountainous tributaries of the Dniester was between 5.6-12.0°C, while in other rivers of the region, it ranged from 12.0-17.0°C. However, in the coming days, due to expected rainfall, a rise in water levels in the rivers may occur.
