The Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show, described by organisers as one of the country's most popular travel events, will take place at the convention centre in Santa Clara, California, USA. The event is scheduled for Saturday, 21 March, from 10:00 to 17:00, and Sunday, 22 March, from 11:00 to 16:00.
According to Travel & Adventure Show Vice President Jonathan Golicz, the exhibition will bring together under one roof representatives of travel destinations from around the world, tour operators, cruise companies, airlines and hotels. Among the participants are international destinations such as Taiwan, cruise operators like Celebrity Cruises, and the airline Cathay Pacific.
Visitors will be able to speak directly with experts, choose an itinerary and access special offers which, according to the organisers, are not available through other sales channels. Hundreds of exhibitors will be working on the stands, helping to plan and personalise future trips, as well as running prize draws for holidays and special discounts.
Well-known travel experts will be speaking on the show's stages. Confirmed guests include Phil Rosenthal, host of the Netflix show "Watch Somebody Feed Phil", CBS News travel editor Peter Greenberg, and traveller Angel Castellanos, who has visited more than 100 countries. They will be sharing advice on safe and comfortable travel, technology in tourism, packing luggage and avoiding common mistakes on the road.

The organisers emphasise that despite the popularity of online services and artificial intelligence, it is face-to-face communication with representatives of destinations, hotels, airlines and cruise lines that makes it possible to tailor a trip to a specific budget and the needs of a family or individual traveller.
Tickets for the Bay Area Travel & Adventure Show can be purchased online, and the organisers note that prices via their social media channels are slightly lower than on the main website. Children under 17, as well as medical first responders and military personnel, can attend the event free of charge. The exhibition will occupy the entire Santa Clara Convention Center, so no other events will be held there on those dates.
