Halyna Koval, a teacher of physics and astronomy from Lviv, has been awarded the honorary title “Honoured Teacher of Ukraine”. This award was presented on behalf of the President of Ukraine by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi. Mrs Halyna works at the Lviv Gymnasium “Prestige” and is noted for her students regularly becoming winners of physics olympiads.
Her work goes beyond ordinary lessons, as she knows how to ignite interest in science, teach critical thinking, and encourage students not to fear challenges. The educator constantly improves herself and shares her experience with colleagues by conducting seminars and practical sessions, creating her own educational programmes.
“Halyna Stepanivna, thank you for your high professionalism, wisdom, and dedication to the profession. And for investing not only knowledge but also your soul into our children,” the head of the region addressed the teacher.
