Employees of all departments of the Lviv Regional State Administration donated their one-day salary for March to help 7-year-old Bohdanchyk Ilkiv from Brody. A total of 640,000 hryvnias was raised. The child is battling Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a severe genetic disease that gradually progresses, taking away strength and the ability to move.
Bohdanchyk’s chance to halt the disease is the extremely expensive drug Elevidys, which costs over 120 million hryvnias. Time is very limited, as with such a diagnosis, the medication needs to be administered as soon as possible. If you are able, please support our young compatriot financially.
