Today, Borys Zimenkovsky, the long-serving rector of the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, who left a significant impact in the field of medicine and education, passed away. This news was announced by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi.
“His name will forever be associated with an entire era in the history of the university. Sincere condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, students and the entire medical community. Blessed memory,” noted the head of the region.
