In Drohobych, Territorial Centre Dependants Received Easter Parcels

On the eve of Easter, in the Drohobych community, support was organised for those who need it most. Many elderly people and individuals with disabilities often find themselves alone due to life circumstances or separation from loved ones during the war. Therefore, specialists from the Drohobych City Territorial Centre for Social Services initiated an important campaign.

Thanks to the financial support of the Drohobych City Council, 410 food parcels were assembled for the centre’s dependants. The parcels contained traditional Easter products: Easter cakes, eggs, butter, horseradish, green peas, mayonnaise, and corn — everything necessary for the festive table. During wartime, such assistance becomes particularly significant due to the rising prices of products.

Social workers visited the dependants in various corners of the community, delivered parcels to them and greeted them for the celebration, wishing them peace and health. In Drohobych, efforts continue to ensure that no one is overlooked, especially during such important and bright days.
