Maple Trees Planted on Hrushevskyi Street in Drohobych

On Hrushevskyi Street in Drohobych, efforts to green the city continue apace. Today, 20th April, 10 young Globe Maple trees were planted, which will, in time, become part of the city’s green infrastructure.

The initiative for this environmental improvement was spearheaded by Drohobych Gas Management of “Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine”. This endeavour was supported by the leadership of the Drohobych community, as greening public spaces is part of the city’s overall development strategy.

The tree planting event was attended by the city mayor Taras Kuchma and the head of the Drohobych branch of UEGG Lviv subsidiary LLC “Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine” Mykola Bun, along with gas service workers.

In the future, Drohobych plans to continue creating green spaces by planting new trees in various locations. Such initiatives make the city more comfortable for its residents.
