At the Sosnivka Lyceum, an event called “Veteran’s Tree” took place, during which students, together with veteran’s assistant Serhiy Krasnozhenny, planted 13 trees. This was reported by the Sheptytska City Council.
Serhiy Krasnozhenny noted that he was honoured to join the initiative of Oleg Safin, a veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian war, which brought together students and those who already know the cost of war not just from the news. Each tree serves as a reminder of the high price paid for the opportunity to live, learn, and plan for the future.
“Thank you to everyone who participated: for the saplings, for the help, for the concern. It is from such actions that a strong community is formed, one that remembers its Heroes,” wrote Serhiy Krasnozhenny on his page.
