Belz Community Discussed Eco Project with Polish Partners

The municipal territorial community of Belz held a working meeting within the framework of implementing a joint ecological project with Polish partners.

As part of the event, a training visit of the Polish partners to Ukraine took place. Representing the Belz community at the meeting were Mayor Oksana Bereza, Deputy Mayor Mariya Hrementa, Executive Committee Manager Lyubov Rebryna, Project Coordinator Nataliya Savka, and Investment Department Specialist Vira Kostiv-Khamlyak. The Polish delegation was led by Mateusz Jarosz, the Wójt of the Bełżec municipality.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the technical, financial, and organizational aspects of project implementation, agreed on further stages of work, and emphasized the importance of quality technical supervision. As part of the visit, along with the Polish partners, the delegation from Belz visited the treatment facilities in Pustomyty as an example of a successfully implemented environmental investment that demonstrates the efficiency of modern wastewater treatment technologies.

In our community, construction work on new treatment facilities will soon begin, and this visit allowed us to take into account best practices and accumulated experience. The project aims to improve the ecological status of the border region through the modernization of wastewater treatment systems and the implementation of environmentally safe solutions.
