In Prylbichi, during a solemn service marking the 160th anniversary of the birth of Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytskyi, the winners of the Sheptytskyi Grant were announced.
The Mostyska community won first place among 54 projects from all over Ukraine. The winning project, ‘Pain Treatment Room,’ will be implemented in a hospital for palliative, neurological, and oncology patients in Mostyska.
The author of the project, Viktor Kopach, director of the CPMSP ‘Mostyska City Hospital’ MMC, will receive 100,000 UAH for implementation from the Yavorivschyna fund.
This is another step towards truly humane medicine, which Metropolitan Andrey embodied so deeply in his life. ‘We thank the organizers for the opportunity to bring an important cause to life,’ the community representatives stated.
Special thanks to the ambassador of Yavorivschyna News BF – Member of Parliament Pavlo Bakunets – for believing in our cause and for continuous support. This inspires us to do good with even greater strength.
