Rescuers Provide Help to Injured 13-Year-Old Skier in Slavske, Lviv Region

An incident occurred on a ski slope in Slavske, Lviv region, where a 13-year-old boy was injured while skiing. This happened at 16:05 on January 27. A local mountain search and rescue team came to the aid of the young athlete, who had injured his left leg.

The victim received first aid promptly, after which the rescuers transported him to the medical point at the foot of the mountain for further treatment. The rescue team ensured the safety and comfort of the boy on the way to the support point.

In light of the accident, the rescuers emphasized the importance of following safety measures while skiing. It is vital not only to have skiing skills but also to wear helmets, knee pads, and other protective gear that can significantly reduce the risk of injury.
