In Lviv, a new large low-floor bus has been launched on route No. 14, which connects Antonycha Street and Horodotska Street (AS ‘Zakhidna’). This adds to the existing 11 vehicles already operating on this route. Oleh Partyka, Head of Lviv City Transport Management, emphasised that the new transport will provide more comfort and convenience for passengers, meet current public transport standards, and is adapted for people with limited mobility.
Route No. 14 is serviced by the carrier ‘Mira i K’. On regular days, 18 buses operate on the line. Over the past year and since the beginning of 2026, more than 130 large low-floor buses have been upgraded in Lviv. Currently, 400 such transport units are already operating in the city. This is evidenced by the fact that over 78% of city transport is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Last year, the municipal ATP-1 purchased 10 medium-class buses with low-floor sections and air conditioning, which are already serving routes No. 5a, 19, 49a, and 55a.
