The Drohobych City Council and the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning conducted a competition to choose projects for the Comprehensive Planning of the Park of Newborns. Professional architects participated in the competition, presenting six projects for park development.
- The projects include dividing the area into different zones: landscape, recreational, children’s, sports, as well as locations for official events and picnics.
- There are plans to create additional parking lots, bicycle paths, and pedestrian walkways.
- One of the projects involves planting a memorial tree in memory of children who died during the war.
Ihor Petranycz emphasized the importance of integrating various zones into a unified park development concept. Each project has the potential to become the foundation for the comprehensive development of this area.
