Inclusive Archery Range Opens in Lviv

An inclusive archery range, the first of its kind in Ukraine, has opened in Lviv at the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University. The Veterans and Adaptive Sports Centre “League of the Unconquered” has been established for the rehabilitation, physical recovery, and social adaptation of veterans, military personnel, and people with disabilities.

The centre is located at 69 Pekarska Street and was created as part of the regional sports development programme. Over the years 2024–2025, two large-scale projects were implemented: the capital renovation of the shooting complex and the reconstruction of the sports facility with consideration for accessibility principles. In total, more than 47 million UAH was allocated from the regional budget.

“This is the only inclusive archery range in Ukraine, 70 metres long, with full infrastructure for training and rehabilitation. It is not just a sports space — it is a place for our Heroes to return to a full life,” noted the Acting Head of the Lviv Regional Council, Yuriy Kholod.

The complex includes zones for shooting at various distances, training spaces, physiotherapy rooms, inclusive showers, co-working areas, and other necessary infrastructure. It will become part of the veteran sports ecosystem, where recovery and integration occur through physical activity and community.
