A Mobile App for City Services to Launch in Lviv

In Lviv, a new mobile app is set to launch, bringing together essential digital services for residents. This project is being implemented by the digital transformation team of the Lviv City Council, with the launch scheduled for April 2026.

The Deputy for Digital Transformation of Lviv, Olena Hunko, noted that the app will be part of a platform for several cities, not just Lviv. Users will be able to select their city within the app and access relevant services. A similar system is already in operation in Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, and Bucha.

The app will be available for iOS and Android and will include around 10 basic services, such as a map of resilience points, information on shelters, news, surveys, alerts about alarms, changes in transport routes, queues at the CNAP, weather, and air quality. Some features are aimed at providing feedback to the city.

Olena Hunko emphasised that Lviv residents will soon be able to experience the benefits of these changes. The city aims to become more convenient for its residents, with digital services designed to save time and simplify interaction with the city.

Special attention is being paid to security, ensuring the protection of personal data through the platform’s technical solutions and the expertise of a cybersecurity company. The app’s functionality will be expanded in the future, while the Resident Portal will remain a tool for more complex administrative services.
